Grumpy, grumpy, grumpy....

Well today hasn't been a banner day for Josh, he has been all out of sorts for most of the day....starting when he woke up at 4am this morning! He just hasn't been a happy camper. I take him into work with me on Tuesdays and Thursdays and even though I always tell myself it will only take two hours, it manages to take 3 - 4 with snack breaks (Josh's, not mine!) and visiting. It took lots of snuggling to get my usually cooperative guy to sleep tonight, cross your fingers and wish for a restful sleep for him full of lots of happy dreams :) I'll include a pic of him on a happier day that I took on March 13th.

Grass between my toes

So I took Josh on his first real walk in the sun last week. We had been out before but had to bundle up. This day, the sun was shining, it was beautiful and warm and I couldn't resist taking him outside and down to the park. I just had to take off his socks and let those little toes breathe. He conked out on the trip to the park and just chilled in his stroller for a bit when we arrived. After he woke up, I introduced him to grass :), put his hands and feet in it to let him get a good feel for it. He loved watching all the kids in the park and I can see him there myself in the not too far future. Of course, all that fresh air and sunshine did him in for the rest of the evening, trying to keep him awake was just about impossible...he just wanted to sleep and sleep.

Hey, I'm wondering why in the "mood" selection they don't have a listing for TIRED!! Oh wait, this isn't really supposed to be about me is it? :) No worries, munchkin is actually close by and sleeping on his boppy on my lap right now, which means I have TWO hands to type with, although....I have gotten good at typing with one hand...I just don't use much punctuation or capitalization. So I am including some recent pictures of Josh...the crying one I took while he was helping me fold laundry...can you tell he was thrilled? The other two...he is sleeping after a bath, he looks like some eastern european weight lifter or wrestler to me...not sure if you can see it in the pic, but that shirt makes him look "beefy", heehee. The other is during bathtime...what a sweet face!
