So what could have necessitated me having to wash and rinse each of these little Matchbox cars individually? Give me your best guess!

Joshua joined our lives in December 2003 and as every new parent says, nothing has been the same since then! But, we are loving it. Because I have been so bad about getting updates and pictures out to everyone (I swear somedays I don't know where the hours go!) I had the brilliant (!) idea of letting everyone come to one place that I could keep updated without too much time needed. Let's see if it works!

My best guess would have to be that they all took a swim in the toilet. You know to "wash" them :)
I'm gonna guess they were buried in the backyard and then it rained on them :)
Josh was in a sprinkle his milk everywhere phase. Sometimes I would forget to put the stopper in his sippy cup, other times he would bypass it (LOL) by shaking the cup hard enough to make it fall out. He "sprinkled" the stairs with milk twice, scared the whoop-de-doo out of him when I used the Bissell to clean the stairs, so I think he decided to find other things to "sprinkle". The cars were in a box, he very carefully "sprinkled" most of his sippy cup milk into the box. They were soaked, I couldn't let them sit otherwise that would be some stinky smelling cars! Of course, they had to drain both ways and I think he managed to get every single car in his collection! So far we have not had any swimmers in the toilet (a.k.a. "the potty"), but I'm not counting on him not figuring that fun stunt out!
